5 months old!
Wow. I can’t believe Levi is 5 months old already! Time has flown by!
Levi is getting much better at sitting up. We took him to get his 5 month pictures this weekend and got some great shots of him sitting up. I call it tripodding because he uses his hands in front of himself to stay up. He is a lot more interested in reaching out to things in front of him while he is sitting up too. It makes things pretty funny sometimes. He will go forward and just kind of sit there. Kind of acting like he wants to just lay down and kind of acting like he wants to get up and crawl.
He is also smiling different now. It is more of a defined smile and not as much of an open mouth grin. Kind of hard to explain but cute. His laugh is more defined now too. Less grunting (he has always grunted a lot) and more laughing. He gets himself pretty tickled too.
My friend Jodi had a disclaimer that her blog is like her baby book for her daughter. Those of you who know me know that I scrapbook. However, I haven’t had time to do so recently so I am writing things down here to help me remember them. I think once he starts eating more variety of food, I will be able to go to friends’ houses and work on my albums while Robert hangs out with him.

Five Month Pictures
Today, in honor of Levi’s Five month birthday I have pictures.
These were taken at JC Penney’s where they have finally gone digital and with a free camera so they can move around. It allowed us to get some great shots of our little boy. He’s also getting a lot better at pictures, so that helps.
Here’s a family shot that’s going on our wall.
It took a little effort to get him to grab his toes, even though he does this all the time. Heck, when we’re changing his diaper its a fight to get him to let go of them. While I was trying to get him to they took this shot. That’s why there’s only one of my hands and not of Kendra’s.

He was a happy baby for pictures. Even still it wasn’t always easy to get him to look at the camera. The girl taking the shots had to get on the floor to get a lot of them.
He was taking a thumb sucking break during shooting. 
He is getting quite good a “tripoding” as Kendra calls it. he can sit up for a time, using his arms to help. Here he is swinging an arm for balance. He was totally flirting with the camera girl. She was cute. That’s my little ladies man.

Feet are just so cool, I mean have you ever just looked a them. And sometimes, people put things on your feet, and it leads to all new discoveries. Shoes!

He did great getting his pictures taken and I hope he keeps it up. Going every month is going to be a lot easier with the new setup too.
New Template
So I got tired of using one of the standard templates and decided to look for a different one. I found one I like and decided to do a little modification. Here it is, not too many changes on it. It came from FinalSense. I like free, and I like the design.
